Tina Brown Africa is a Ghanaian trailblazing emerging artist

Tina Brown Africa is a Ghanaian trailblazing emerging artist. Her lifelong enjoyment of human interaction with music is readily apparent in her work ethic and passion. Being born in Nigeria, Tina Brown Africa is fluent in Yoruba, Twi, Ewe, and English which she infuses into her music. Her signature soft vocals and handle on several languages allows her music to embed itself into the hearts of listeners across varied cultures. The gift to go beyond geographical borders also renders her an effortless ability to cross genres of Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-hop, Afrobeat, Highlife and others.

A graduate of Dadease Agric Senior High School, Tina Brown Africa pursued an early music career right out of high school in 2018. Music became an indispensable part of her life as she sought to reconcile the world of music with the express human need to find community in shared spirit and experience. Since then, she has been nominated Dancehall Song of the Year at the first edition of the Emerging Music Awards, 3 nominations at KIM Awards for Artist of the Year, Best Song of the Year and Video of the year in 2019, Hiplife Artist of the year at the Ashanti Music Awards, Hiplife Song Of The Year as well as several Ghanaian-based television outputs and press releases. Tina Brown Africa was endorsed by the most awarded African rapper Sarkodie and Links Entertainment’s signed artiste Kidi on Twitter in 2018. It was, however, the release of her 2018 single “Good Girl Gone Bad” that generated the most buzz and notoriety around her as an artist. She followed the hugely successful release with more conscious singles like Boa Nipa (Help Someone) in 2019 and in 2020 she released ‘Pandemic’, ‘End SARs’ which weighed in on the trending economic and political challenges of that time.
